Although I might seem a bit reserved at first, friends would tell you that I often wear a smile on my face, and that I can be quite a goofball sometimes. I once burned all the hair off my hand while juggling torches on a windy day! I am an easy-going and fun-loving guy seeking a partner to share life’s big and small moments.

I have enjoyed being an underwriter at an insurance company for 5 years. My job allows me some flexibility as I work 4 long weekdays Monday thru Thursday, leaving me with all 3-day weekends. I get up at 4 a.m. on work days, so I am a morning person by default. Please forgive me if my response time is slow on those days, but I promise to get back to you as soon as possible!

In my free time I enjoy pursuing more creative ambitions and I have a wide variety of interests. I love to write and I am currently learning to draw and play the piano. I enjoy staying fit and active and you will find me at the gym a couple evenings a week, or day hiking any chance I get. I am not picky about food, but I despise onions. I am a bit of a bookworm and am usually in the middle of 2 to 4 books at one time. I love to travel, but haven’t had the opportunity to do so much thus far in my life. I dream of future trips, both international and domestic, with the perfect travel companion. I love spending time with friends. I like to have a few close friends rather than a lot of casual acquaintances, and I prefer to really get to know people. I am a hopeless romantic at heart, and enjoy doing little things for my loved ones.

My list of qualifications for a special someone is not long, as I don’t want to miss out on someone unexpected and wonderful. I hope to find a woman who is smart and kind with a good sense of humor, who also seeks an emotional connection in addition to a physical attraction.
